Choosing the Oracle Receivables Source

When you installed Oracle Sales Compensation, you may have installed two instances that perform two main compensation functions: one instance, called the Collector collects the data required to pay compensation; the second instance, called the Calculator, uses this data to calculate a compensation payment. Or, you may have installed one instance that does both (Figure 4 - 3).

Attention: Oracle Sales Compensation collects data to calculate compensation from a single Oracle Receivables source application instance. The Oracle Receivables instance must be Version 10.5 (Oracle Receivables) or later.
