In the default map, each default compensation transaction attribute is paired with its default source column in one of the Oracle Receivables transaction tables. When you run the concurrent process to collect compensation transactions, Oracle Sales Compensation uses the map to determine which Receivables columns to copy data from and which Oracle Sales Compensation columns to copy this data to.

The default mapping brings in the following information from Oracle Receivables:

• Invoices

• Cash Receipts (Payments)

• Credit Memos

• Write-offs (Adjustments)

• Details about customers, such as name and customer id

• Details about salespeople, such as name and id

   To use the default mapping to collect transaction information from Oracle Receivables:

1. Navigate to the Collections window.

Choose Collections from the Setup menu.

2. Select Synchronize.

3. Follow the steps described in Tasks 2 and 3 of the section Overview of the Oracle Receivables Transaction Data Collection Process for the steps required to complete the data collection.
