Common Report Parameters

The following are report parameters common to many Oracle Assets reports:

Book/ACE Book/AMT Book/Budget Book/Federal Book/Tax Book Enter the depreciation book for which you want to run the report.

Fiscal Year Enter the fiscal year for which you want to run the report.

Fiscal Year Name Enter the fiscal year name for which you want to run the report.

From/To Account Enter the account range for which you want to run the report.

From/To Asset Number Enter the asset number range for which you want to run the report.

Note: Oracle Assets sorts asset numbers alphanumerically. Since an asset number can include characters and numbers, the report selects assets based on how the asset numbers compare alphanumerically, not numerically, to the range you selected. For example, this type of comparison places the asset number 100 between 1 and 5.

The lowest and highest values in a range depend on your operating system. The lowest value is either the character A or the number 0. If the lowest value is character A, then the highest value is the number 9. If the lowest value is the number 0, then the highest value is the character Z. You must determine which combination is correct for your computer system.

From/To Cost Center Enter the cost center range for which you want to run the report.

From/To Date Placed In Service Enter the date placed in service range for which you want to run the report.

From/To Period Enter the period range for which you want to run the report. For accounting reports, you must have run depreciation for this period.
