Organizations Overview
Organizations are departments, sections, divisions, companies, or other organizational units in your business. For example, Fremont Corporation organizations include the following hierarchy of divisions and groups:
- Human Resources and Information Services groups
- Fremont Construction division
If you work with contractors or other companies outside your business, you can define them as organizations that you denote as "external." For example, you might define an organization as external to record a work site address at which employees are stationed for extended periods of time.
