get_host_address Function

This function retrieves the IP address of a host.

Syntax

UTL_INADDR.GET_HOST_ADDRESS (

host  IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL) 

RETURN VARCHAR2;

host (IN)	The name of the host to retrieve the IP address. If host is NULL, this function returns the IP address of the local host.
