OCINumberSign()

Purpose

Gets sign of an Oracle number.

Syntax

sword OCINumberSign ( OCIError             *err, 
                      CONST OCINumber      *number, 
                      sword                *result );

Parameters

err (IN/OUT)

The OCI error handle. If there is an error, it is recorded in err and this function returns OCI_ERROR. Obtain diagnostic information by calling OCIErrorGet().

number (IN)

Number whose sign is returned.

result (OUT)

Possible values:

Value of number  Output in result parameter 

number < 0 

-1 

number == 0 

number > 0 

Comments

This function returns an error if number or result is null.
