Design Time
The OO4O automation server requires an application that supports COM
Automation such as:
· Visual Basic 4.0/5.0/6.0 (Standard or Professional)
· Excel 5.0/7.0
· Access 2.0/7.0
· Internet Information Server (IIS)
· Delphi
· The Oracle Data Control requires Visual Basic 4.0/5.0/6.0 (Standard or Professional).
· The Oracle Objects for OLE C++ Class Library requires Microsoft Visual C++
Version 6.X or later
When developing an OO4O Visual Basic project, make sure the Oracle In-Process
Server Type library (oip9.tlb) is referenced. Select References from the Project menu (VB 5.0/6.0) and
check the box next to the Oracle InProc Server 3.0 Type Library which should be pointing to the ORACLE_BASE\ORACLE_HOME\bin\oip9.tlb file.
Run Time
· For 32-bit platforms, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, or Windows 2000.
· A local or remote Oracle database.
· Oracle networking for connecting to an Oracle database.
