Configuring Your Data Warehouse, 10 of 11
After you create a metadata object, such as a dimension or cube, you can access that object from the OLAP management tree. Dimensions are grouped by schema under Dimensions, cubes are grouped by schema under Cubes, and measure folders are optionally grouped under parent folders.
You can view the properties of a metadata object, change those properties, or delete the object.
Follow these steps to modify a metadata object:
or
To edit an object, right-click the object, then choose Edit. The property sheet for that object will appear in the Edit dialog box.
or
To delete an object, right-click it, then choose Remove. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to remove the object.
The following figure shows Cubes expanded to show the dimensions and measures in a cube. The property sheet of the selected measure appears in the right pane.
