This is a text description of scopesec.gif, which shows a typical complex computing environment for Web applications. From the left side of the diagram, is an Internet cloud surrounded by clients, then an application server, and at the far right is a cluster of database servers. Each of these elements of the computing environment are communicating with another as follows. On the leftmost side of the diagram are client icons that surround an Internet cloud. The clients are communicating with the Internet. The Internet cloud shows communication with an application server just to the right. The application server is communicating with a group of database servers located at the rightmost side of the diagram.
