This figure is a screen capture of the Plan Editor main window.

The left pane of the main window contains the Plan Editor navigator tree. At the root of the tree is the plan folder, which the user has expanded. The plan folder shows the name of the plan. In this screen capture, the name of the plan is drop_column. Beneath the plan folder are the Change Requests and Destinations folders, both of which have been expanded.

The Change Requests folder contains the Tables folder, which has been expanded. Beneath the Tables folder is a Schemas folder, which has been expanded to display the directive icon for a table named TEST_TABLE.

The Destinations folder contains the folder for the destination database. Beneath the folder for the destination database are the Script and Run objects.

The right pane of the main window is called the detail view. In this screen capture, the Script object is selected in the navigator tree. The Generate button in the detail view has been clicked, which means that an impact report and script have been generated for the selected destination database. The detail view displays the Impact Report, Script Summary, Options, and Advanced Options pages for the script. The Impact Report provides information about the impact of executing the script at the destination database. The content of the detail view changes when different folders or objects are selected in the navigator tree.
