This screenshot shows the use of the Enterprise Manager Console to configure Oracle XML DB.

The dialog in the left side of the window contains the Navigator that has a tree of the Oracle XML DB resources and database objects you can view or modify.

The dialog in the right side shows the XML Database Parameters page. The XML DB Parameters window lists the following information:

• Parameter Name - Lists the name of the parameter.
• Value - Displays the current value of the parameter. This is an editable field.
• Default - Indicates whether the value is a default value. A check mark indicates a default value.
• Dynamic - Indicates whether or not the value is dynamic. A check mark indicates dynamic.
• Category - Displays the category of the parameter. Category can be HTTP, FTP, or Generic.

The menus at the top include File, Navigator, Object, Tools, Configuration, and Help. There are icons on the left-hand side that provide an alternative method for launching various tasks.
