InitIterator Method

Applies To

OraCollection

Description

Initializes an iterator to scan a collection.

Usage

OraCollection.InitIterator

Remarks

This method initializes an iterator to point to the beginning of a collection. If this method is called for same Oracle10 collection instance, then this method resets the iterator to point back to the beginning of the collection. The OraCollection object automatically reinitializes the iterator when the underlying collection changes due to a dynaset row navigation or a parameter refresh method.

After you call InitIterator, you need to call IterNext or else the first element in the collection will be repeated an extra time.

See also IterNext and IterPrev.
