To View and Maintain Events

1. Use a web browser to navigate to the Event Manager, using a responsibility and navigation path specified by your system administrator. Then choose Events in the horizontal navigation. See: Oracle Workflow Developer Navigation Paths.
You can navigate to the Event Manager from other Oracle Workflow administrator web pages by choosing the Business Events tab or selecting the Business Events link at the bottom of the page.
2. To locate specific events, enter search criteria in the Search region. The main search option is:
3. You can also enter additional search criteria to search for events by other characteristics. To show the additional options if they are hidden, select the Show More Search Options link. To hide these options if they are shown, select the Hide More Search Options link. The additional search criteria are:
4. Select the Go button to perform your search.
5. The Results region displays the events that match your search criteria. For each event, the list displays the internal name, display name, type, and status. Select the Name, Display Name, Type, or Status column heading to sort the list by that column.
6. To view the subscriptions to an event, select the subscription icon in the Subscription column for that event. The Subscriptions: Event page displays the list of subscriptions to the event.
Note: For events that do not have any subscriptions, a blank subscription icon appears in the Subscription column. For events that do have subscriptions to them, a full subscription icon appears.
Note: For seeded subscriptions with a customization level of Limit, you can only update the subscription status. For seeded subscriptions with a customization level of Core, you cannot update any properties; you can only view the subscription definition.
You can also select the Return link to return to the previous page.
7. If you have workflow administrator privileges, you can use the administration icons and buttons in the Events page to perform administrative operations.
Note: For seeded events with a customization level of Limit, you can only update the event status. For seeded events with a customization level of Core, you cannot update any properties; you can only view the event definition.
Note: You cannot raise an event group. You must raise each event individually.
Note: You can only delete events that do not have any subscriptions referencing them and that do not belong to any event groups.
Additionally, you cannot delete any event seeded by Oracle Applications that has a customization level of Core or Limit.
