This graphic shows the setup scenarios for SSL configurations. The standard setup is show on the left, and the optional setup is shown on the right.

The standard setup starts with an HTTP Connection connecting into Single Sign-On and DAS components. These components are connected to the Oracle Internet Directory through an LDAP connection. The Oracle Internet Directory has a database connection into the database.

The optional setup includes the standard setup and replicates the components shown in the section "Configuring SSL for OracleAS Single Sign-On and Oracle Delegated Administration Services" on the left. It includes two optional load balancers: one for HTTP traffic and one for LDAP traffic.
