1 New In Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes

The first version of Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes for 10g Release 1 (10.1.1) was created on July 28, 2005. This chapter lists changes that have been made in each revision since then. All changes are cumulative. With each revision that is published, a new section is added to this chapter.

1.1 Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes Changes: October 7, 2005

The following table lists the changes made in the October 7, 2005 revision of Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes. This revision was published for Linux (B19091-07), Solaris (B14488-07), and HP-UX (B19092-03) platforms.

1.2 Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes Changes: September 24, 2005

The following table lists the changes made in the September 24, 2005 revision of Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes. This revision was published for Linux (B19091-06), Solaris (B14488-06), and HP-UX (B19092-02) platforms.

1.3 Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes Changes: September 18, 2005

The sole purpose of the September 18, 2005 revision of Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes was to provide content for the HP-UX (B19092-01) platform for the first time. This revision was published only on Oracle Collaboration Suite for HP-UX installation media. HP-UX-specific modifications were made, but the essential content of the document was not changed.

1.4 Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes Changes: September 10, 2005

The following table lists the changes made in the September 10, 2005 revision of Oracle Collaboration Suite Release Notes. This revision was published for Linux (B19091-05) and Solaris (B14488-05) platforms only.

  • When direct XMPP/XMPPS connections are disabled, end-to-end Oracle Messenger tests will fail (4529188).

  • Direct manual connection using third-party XMPP; provided for interoperability testing (4430183).

  • For Asian, Arabic, and other multi-byte language locales, some text labels in QoS Reports may be displayed as empty squares (4485121).
