The illustration em_10g_dir_structure.gif consists of a diagram that shows folder icons that represent the two home directories created when you install the Grid Control framework. Specifically, the illustrations shows the Management Service home directory, which contains the following directories:

• The bin directory, which contains the emctl command discussed later in this chapter

• The sysman directory, which contains the Enterprise Manager configuration. logging, and administration files

• The opmn directory and its bin subdirectory, which contains the opmnctl command discussed later in this chapter

• The j2ee and its OC4J_EM subdirectory, which contains the files used to deploy the Management Service J2EE application.

In addition, at the same level as the Management Service home directory, the illustration shows the Management Agent home directory, which contains its own bin directory and sysman directory.
