Part Number B28214-01
This guide describes how to run the Oracle Application Server Repository Creation Assistant tool ("OracleAS RepCA"), which enables you to load OracleAS Metadata Repository into an existing database. You can also use the OracleAS RepCA to register OracleAS Metadata Repository with Oracle Internet Directory.
This guide is intended for database administrators. You need to be able to log in to your database as the SYS user. Steps that you might need to perform include changing the value of database initialization parameters, backing up schemas and tablespaces, and restarting the database.
Our goal is to make Oracle products, services, and supporting documentation accessible, with good usability, to the disabled community. To that end, our documentation includes features that make information available to users of assistive technology. This documentation is available in HTML format, and contains markup to facilitate access by the disabled community. Accessibility standards will continue to evolve over time, and Oracle is actively engaged with other market-leading technology vendors to address technical obstacles so that our documentation can be accessible to all of our customers.
