Service Arguments Tracing
You can export input and output arguments (property sets) in XML format to a file. This facilitates the debugging of problems with the EAI Siebel Adapter and EAI Dispatcher business services. To output arguments in XML format
- Set server parameter EnableServiceArgTracing to True.
If you are running in Siebel Dedicated Web Client, add the following to your .cfg file:
[EAISubsys]
EnableServiceArgTracing = TRUE
This prevents the dump of the arguments when log events is set to ALL.
- Set the appropriate event level on your server component through the server manager on the server or SIEBEL_LOG_EVENTS in Siebel Dedicated Web Client. One of the following events should be set.
If you set event to:
EAIDispatchSvcArgTrc
EAISiebAdptSvcArgTrc
The filenames will take this form:
service name _input or output _args_a big number .dmp
For example:
EAIDispatchService_input_args_270613751.dmp
