Configuring Banquet Revenue Summary Report Headers

Before revenue items can be displayed in the Banquet Revenue Summary report, they must be configured in the Revenue Category Administration screen.

To configure the report headers for the Banquet Revenue Summary report, perform the steps in the following procedures.

This task is a step in Process of Generating Hospitality Reports.

To display revenue parent categories in the Banquet Revenue Summary report

1. Navigate to the Revenue Category Administration screen.
2. In the Revenue Parent Category list, query for the category that should be included in the report.
3. Select the BRS Report Flag check box for the record.

   After the flag is selected, all the revenue related to that category is calculated and appears on the report.

NOTE:  A maximum of 15 report headers can be selected for display in the Banquet Revenue Summary report.

To display revenue child categories in the Banquet Revenue Summary report

1. Navigate to the Revenue Category Administration screen.
2. In the Revenue Parent Category list, query for the parent category.
3. Select the Revenue Categories view tab.

   The revenue child categories that are associated with the selected revenue parent category are displayed.

4. Select the BRS Report Flag check box for the appropriate child records.

   After the flag is selected, all the revenue related to that category is calculated and appears on the report.

To check the revenue category or revenue parent category for a product

1. Navigate to the Administration - Product screen > Products list view.
2. Query for the product that you want to check.
3. Examine the value in the Revenue Parent Category and Revenue Category fields.

NOTE:  If a line item is included in an event check, then select the BRS Report Flag field (on the Revenue Category Administration screen) for either the revenue category or revenue parent category to show their calculated revenue values in the Banquet Revenue Summary report.
