Releasing a Simple Product

Though simple products do not have a Versions list, they are versioned objects. A new version was created when you created the product, and you must release this version to make the product visible to users. For more information about versioned objects, see Releasing Products and Other Versioned Objects.

This task is a step in Process of Creating Simple Products.

To release a simple product

1. Navigate to the Administration - Product screen, then the Products view.
2. In the Products list, select the simple product.
3. Click Release.
