Data Synchronization

This section discusses the implications of data synchronization for the administrator. These explanations will help you respond to and coordinate synchronization issues for Mobile Web Clients. For details regarding the synchronization process, refer to Siebel Remote Flow Diagram and About Synchronizing a Mobile Web Client.

NOTE:  A client that is extracted gets the latest transactions. The routers no longer need to route transactions that were generated before the extract started. Extracting all Mobile Web Clients again allows the Transaction Processor to delete all transactions that were created before the extraction from the transaction log.
