Process of Installing and Configuring Handheld Applications

After setting up the Siebel Server and the queue manager, you are now ready to install and configure the Siebel Handheld applications to enable Store-and-Forward Messaging.

To install and configure the Siebel Handheld applications you need to perform the following tasks:

• Preparing for Installation of Siebel Handheld Applications
• Installing Siebel Handheld Applications
• Setting Up a Network Connection for Handheld Devices
• Synchronizing and Registering the Handheld Application for Store-and-Forward Messaging
• Optional Task: Tuning Handheld Application Parameters
