Business Components That Hold Temporary Data for a Task UI

A transient business component (TBC) is a type of business component that provides a way to create data that Siebel CRM can display and that the user can edit in a task-based user interface (task UI). The data in a TBC is temporary. Siebel CRM uses this data during the life of the task, typically to control the flow or logic, then discards it when the task is complete.
