Scenario for Adding Assets to Agreements with the Task UI Application
A contract manager for a printer manufacturing company is in communication with a customer for a new support contract to cover 250 printer assets. The customer is concerned about the ongoing maintenance and repair of their printers, the responsiveness of service calls, and how quickly field repairs can be carried out. Not only does the customer require a high availability for their printers, but also a competitive price. While the contract manager understands that he wants to deliver a high quality service contract for the company to make sure the printers are kept working, he also needs to deliver a profitable service for his own company. Using the Assets to Contracts Task, he creates a service package, adds several printers to it, quotes a price for the contract, and creates a charge plan and promotional price discount for the first six months. Finally, he submits the contract for approval before printing it.
