GenerateOrder Method

GenerateOrder is used to select source and target inventories when restocking is needed. The method then generates the orders required to obtain materials from an external provider, an internal inventory site, or an internal manufacturing facility.

Usage

The input parameters are called if invoking from code or from a component request. See Parameters for the Replenishment Engine for more information about these parameters.

Additional Details

By default, the Replenishment Engine is run as a server component and not as a business service.
