Marking a Specific Space as Requiring Backup


There are some function spaces that require a backup space in case the function space is unable to be used when required. For example, a wedding party may request to have photographs taken in a garden, or may ask to use a beach attached to the hotel for a beach wedding. However, as these are outdoor events, they may be affected by weather conditions. In this case, it is necessary to indicate that the function space requires a backup space. The backup space that will be used instead of a specific space can be specified when a quote involving the specific space is generated. To mark a specific space as requiring backup

  1. Navigate to the Property Administration screen > Properties list view.
  2. In the Properties list, query for and select the required property record.
  3. Click the link in the Property Name field, and then click the Specific Space view tab.
  4. In the Specific Space list, select the required specific space, and then click the check box in the Back Up Required field.

To mark a specific space category as requiring backup

  1. Navigate to the Property Administration screen > Properties list view.
  2. In the Properties list, query for and select the required property record.
  3. Click the link in the Property Name field, and then click the Category view tab.
  4. In the Categories list, select the required category, and then click the check box in the Back Up Required field.
