Reviewing Quote Summary Information

In the Quotes Summary view, the sales user can see the revenue, profit, and availability information for the function spaces and room blocks associated with the quote. The Summary form displays a summary of the sleeping room, function space, and total quote revenue and profit information.

The Summary view also contains the following lists:

• Revenue Thresholds. This is a list of all revenue thresholds for the parent revenue categories associated with the quote.
• Negotiation Rates. This is a list of all sleeping room negotiation rates associated with the quote.

This task is a step in Reviewing Quote Details.

To review the quote summary

1. Navigate to the Quotes screen > Quotes List view.
2. In the Quotes list, query for and select the quote.
3. In the Quote record, click the link in the Name field.
4. Click the Summary view tab.
5. From the quote Summary form, scroll down to view information in the Revenue Threshold, Negotiation Rates, Functions and Room Block Items lists.

   NOTE:  For nonparticipating properties, all of this information is editable, as the pricing functionality is not available for nonparticipating properties.

   The following table describes some of the fields in the Summary form.

   Field	Comments
   Total Profit	Total expected profit for the quote, which is the sum of function space profit, and room block profit.
   Total Revenue	Total revenue for the quote, which is the sum of function space revenue, and room block revenue.
   Total Square Feet	Sum of the actual square feet for each function space associated with the quote.
   Refresh	When a change is made to a function line item or room block line item, the Refresh flag is checked to indicate to users that the Refresh button should be clicked for revenue recalculation and rollup.
   Sleeping Room Profit	Sum of sleeping room profits for the quote, with each sleeping room profit calculated as sleeping room revenue multiplied by the profit percentage defined for the rental. Sleeping Room Profit = Sleeping Room Price - Cost
   Total Room Nights	Sum of all contracted rooms associated with the quote.
   Sleeping Room Revenue	Sum of the revenue for all sleeping rooms associated with the quote.
   SR Availability	An aggregate inventory status for all the room block line items. Indicates sleeping room availability with one of the following values: Total. All sleeping room line items associated with the quote are available for use. Not Available. Sleeping room line items are not available for use. Partial. Some sleeping room line items are available for use.
   Function Space Room Rental	Sum of function space rentals for the quote.
   Function Space Revenue	Sum of function space revenues for the quote.
   Function Space Profit	Sum of function space profit for the quote, with each function space profit calculated as function space revenue multiplied by the profit percentage defined for the rental. This is calculated from the rollup of revenue categories that have the Sum Line Item flag checked.
   FS Availability	An aggregate inventory status for all the functions associated with a quote. Indicates function space availability with one of the following values: Total Not Available Partial
   Required Threshold	Sum of the threshold for each function space associated with the quote. For more information on threshold calculations, see Profit and Revenue Thresholds.
   Threshold Profit Variance	Function space profit minus the required threshold value. If the value is negative, the quote did not pass the threshold. If the value is positive, the quote passed the threshold.
   Total # of Covers	Sum of the expected number of attendees for all functions associated with the quote.
