Reviewing and Adding Specifications for the BEO Report

Users can use the Orders screen > Event Order > BEO Specifications view to both review and add specifications to the BEO report before generating it.

The BEO Specifications view consists of the Report Headers list, the Line Items list, and the Comments list. This view shows all the report headers that are associated with the products selected for the event order. Report headers with no child line items also appear in the Report Headers list. However, when the report is generated, only report headers with either line items or comments are displayed. Report headers that are listed in the Report Headers list but which have no child line items or comments do not appear in the report.

This task is a step in Process of Administering Hospitality Reports.

To review product line items associated with a report header

1. Navigate to the Order screen > Event Order list view.
2. In the Event Orders list, query for the order.
3. Drill down on the Order # hyperlink.
4. Click the BEO Specifications view tab to navigate to that view.
5. Query for the report header.
6. Scroll down to the Line Items list to check the line items associated with the order and report header.

To add property-specific comments to a report header

1. Navigate to the Orders screen > Event Order list view.
2. In the Event Orders list, query for the order.
3. Drill down on the Order # hyperlink.
4. Click the BEO Specifications view tab to navigate to that view.
5. Query for the report header.
6. Scroll down to the Comments list, and create a new record.
7. In the Comments field, click the select button to choose a comment.

   The Sequence field is automatically populated after you have chosen the comment.

   The comments that are available for selection are those property-specific comments added in the Property Administration screen > Reports Headers view. New comments for the report header can also be added using the BEO Specifications view.
