The maximum number of result rows to retrieve. |

Max Time (O) |
The maximum time (seconds) allowed to do a search. |

Name (R) |
The logical name of this search definition. This is specified as the value for the SearchDefName property in the CFG file. |

Sort Specification (O) |
The sort expression used to order the records returned. |
Examples: SCORE DESC, FILENAME ASC. |
