Checking for Inactivated EIM Table Columns in the Siebel Database
Upgrades from: Siebel 6.x, 7.0.x, & 7.5.x. Environments: Development, production test, production. Platforms: MS Windows, UNIX, IBM z/OS. This topic is part of an upgrade process. See How to Perform a Siebel Database Upgrade. In Siebel 7.7, some columns in EIM tables were inactivated (Active = FALSE). This was done to prevent the tables from exceeding the 32-KB table size limitation. In Siebel Tools, query for inactive columns in these tables and verify that this does not affect the operation of the application.
