The Siebel eBusiness 6.3 to 7.5 Analytics Bridge

If you are using a Siebel eBusiness application version 6.3 and have also licensed version 7.5 of Siebel Analytics, you will need to use the Siebel eBusiness 6.3 to 7.5 Analytics Bridge (referred to as the Analytics Bridge throughout this chapter). Installation of the Analytics Bridge allows you to use the newer functionality of Siebel Analytics 7.5 with a Siebel eBusiness 6.3 application.

If you plan to use this Bridge application, you should review this appendix before you begin the installation process.

This appendix is in two sections:

CAUTION:  Because of inherent differences in the underlying application schemas, the Analytics Bridge may not perform a complete mapping of all Presentation layer columns in the Siebel Analytics repository. This may also affect those dashboard reports built from the columns that are not mapped. See Siebel Applications Technical Note 429 on Siebel SupportWeb for a list of Presentation layer columns and reports known to be affected.
