Sample Report—Opportunities Pipeline

The Opportunities Pipeline standard report is provided in your C:\Siebdev\rptsrc\language\standard directory, but is not currently used in Siebel Sales. However, it can be invoked from Actuate e.Report Designer Professional when Siebel Sales is running with an active filter in the Opportunities screen.

To display the Opportunities Pipeline report

  1. Open Siebel Sales.
  2. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Opportunities > My Opportunities.
  3. Open Actuate e.Report Designer Professional.
  4. Open the Oppipe.rod design file, located in C:\Siebdev\rptsrc\enu\standard, in Actuate.

    5. If your installation uses a non-English version of Siebel eBusiness Applications, you do not have an \enu folder. Instead, you have a folder in the appropriate language code for your installation, such as \deu for Germany.

  5. Hide all toolbars except the Viewer toolbar, using the View > Toolbars option.
  6. Build and run the report.

The Opportunities Pipeline report, displayed in Actuate e.Report Designer Professional, is shown in Figure 21.

This is a single-page report containing a bar graph. This graph aggregates the revenue (anticipated or actual) by the month in which the close date occurs.
