Business Component Wizard

You use the New Business Component Wizard to create Business Component objects.

To open the Business Component wizard

  1. Choose File > New Objects.
  2. Select the BusComp icon, and click OK.

    3. The New Business Component dialog box appears as shown in the following figure.

  3. Select a Project and the master Business Component and click Next.

    4. The second New Business Component dialog box appears.

  4. Select a column in the Base table and enter a name for the field.
  5. Click Add and Finish.

    6. When you click Finish, you are taken to the business component you just created in the Object List Editor, where you can further configure the new Business Component object.
