Modifying Siebel Analytics Dashboard Pages and Columns
This topic explains how to add pages to, remove pages from, and remove columns from a dashboard.
To add a page to a dashboard
- Open the dashboard you want to modify.
The dashboard content appears. If the dashboard has not already been set up, an empty dashboard notification message appears.
- Do one of the following:
- To add a page to an empty dashboard, click the Create a new dashboard page link.
- To add a page to a populated dashboard, click the New Page link.
The Add Dashboard Page appears.
- In the Page Name text box, type a name for the dashboard page.
NOTE: Dashboards that contain only one page do not display the page name as a tab at the top of the dashboard. The name you specify for a page is used as a tab at the top of a dashboard only when the dashboard contains multiple pages.
- Click Finish.
The updated dashboard appears.
NOTE: Every new page automatically contains one column.
- After a page has been added to a dashboard, you can perform the following functions:
- Add a column to the page
- Create a new section
- Add a folder to the page
- Edit the dashboard column
To add a column to a page
- Navigate to a dashboard page for which you want to modify the columns.
- To add a column, click the New Column link.
The updated dashboard appears.
To remove a column from a dashboard page
- Navigate to a dashboard page for which you want to modify the columns.
- Click the Edit Column link for the column you want to remove.
The Edit Column page appears.
- In the Edit Sections area, click Delete Column.
NOTE: Deleting a column that contains content will also delete the content from the dashboard.
The updated dashboard appears.
