Adding and Modifying Siebel Delivers Profiles


Siebel Delivers uses your active delivery profile to determine which devices receive delivered content. For example, you might have an In the Office delivery profile that delivers content to a Web browser and office email, and an On the Road profile that delivers content to your pager or PDA, depending on the priority of the information. Access the My Account link to switch between available profiles as needed.

NOTE:  The My Delivery Profiles feature appears only when one or more delivery devices are configured for your account. If no devices are configured to deliver content to you, the My Delivery Profile feature does not appear on the My Account page.

To add a Siebel Delivers profile

  1. Navigate to Siebel Analytics.
  2. Click the My Account link.
  3. In the Delivery Options section, click the Add Delivery Profile link.
  4. The Delivery Profile page appears.

  5. In the Delivery Profile Name text box, type a descriptive name for the profile.
  6. In the Define Profile section, select the delivery priority for the devices you want to use with the profile.
  7. NOTE:  Do not set the priority for devices that you do not want to use. Devices that do not have a priority selected are not used by the profile.

  8. Click Finished.
  9. To activate the profile, click the Select link for the profile. A check mark indicates that the profile is active.

To modify, delete, or activate a Siebel Delivers profile

  1. Navigate to Siebel Analytics.
  2. Click the My Account link.
  3. To modify a delivery profile, do the following:
    1. In the Delivery Options section, click the Edit link for the delivery profile you want to edit.
    2. Update the profile options as needed.
    3. Click Finished.
  4. To delete a delivery profile, do the following:
    1. In the Delivery Options section, click the Delete link for the delivery profile you want to delete.
    2. A delete confirmation message appears.

    3. Click Yes.
  5. To activate a delivery profile, click the Select link for a profile to activate. A check mark indicates that the profile is active.
  6. Click Finished.
