Configuring the Cookie Domain

The following registry entries are used to configure the cookie domain:

This entry allows the Siebel Analytics Web administrator to specify domain information for a cookie sent to the browser.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Siebel Systems, Inc.\Siebel Analytics\Web\7.5

CookieDomain

There is no default entry.

This entry allows the Siebel Analytics Web administrator to override the domain path that cookies will apply to. The internal default is "/".

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Siebel Systems, Inc.\Siebel Analytics\Web\7.5

CookiePath

This entry allows the Siebel Analytics Web administrator to override the date on which persisted cookies will expire. For example, this is the date on which remembered passwords will expire (see Disabling the Feature to Remember Users' Names and Passwords). The default value is "Tue, 31 Dec 2030 23:59:59 GMT".

CookieExpire

The format is "day, dd mon year hh:mm:ss GMT", where:

day	The standard three-letter abbreviation for the day of the week.
dd	The 2-digit day of the month.
mon	The standard three-character abbreviation for the month.
year	The 4-digit year.
hh:mm:ss	The hour, minutes and seconds.
GMT	The time zone, Greenwich Mean Time.

It is recommended that you do not change this entry.
