Activity-Based Assignment


Assignment Manager can assign emails as email activities created during inbound and outbound email processing. Communications Server (Communications Inbound Manager server component) works in conjunction with Siebel eMail Response and Siebel Workflow to create activities for inbound emails. Communications Server (Communications Outbound Manager server component) creates activities for outbound emails. NOTE:  Setting up assignment rules to assign email activities requires customization in Siebel Tools for Applets, Workflow Policy Object Column, and Assignment Attribute.
