Setting Up Siebel eCollaboration

NOTE:  If you use eCollaboration for helping your customers who are outside of your firewall, then you must place the eCollaboration server between your external and internal firewalls. If you use eCollaboration to help your employees or individuals who have access to your intranet, then you can place the eCollaboration server inside of your internal firewall.

Siebel eCollaboration is typically administered through a Siebel application such as Siebel Call Center or Siebel Service. Web site visitors typically request Web collaboration sessions through Siebel customer applications such as Siebel eService.
