Installing Dialogic Call Information Manager


This section describes how to install the Dialogic Call Information Manager (CIM Service), and the necessary service pack. For detailed installation instructions, refer to Call Information Manager User's Guide.

NOTE:  You should install the CIM Service on the same server machine on which you installed Dialogic CT Connect Server.

To install Dialogic Call Information Manager

  1. Install the Dialogic Call Information Manager hardware key.
  2. Attach the CIM Service hardware key to the CT Connect hardware key on the Siebel CTI Connect Server machine.
  3. NOTE:  The CIM Service hardware key must be present before the CIM Service is started.

  4. On the Windows Server Ancillary Programs CD-ROM from Siebel Systems, locate setup.exe in the directory \Thirdpty\enu\dialogic\cim.
  5. Run setup.exe.
  6. Accept the CIM Service license.
  7. Verify CIM Service registration information.
  8. Accept the default destination directory for the installation.
  9. Accept the default program folder.
  10. Verify current settings, and click Next.
  11. Click OK to acknowledge installation of Aladdin Device Driver Installation Utility for Win32.
  12. When the installer has completed, specify that you will restart your computer later, and click Finish.
