This chapter provides an overview of communications drivers and profiles provided by Siebel Systems, and describes how to configure drivers and profiles to interface with communications software such as CTI middleware or email servers.

If you are upgrading from a previous version, see also Upgrading from Version 6.x. This appendix primarily addresses upgrade issues for Siebel CTI and Siebel Communications Server. Also refer to the Upgrade Guide for the operating system you are using.
