Installing the Development Environment

You must install a development environment before you modify or extend integration points. Here are the installation steps:

To install the environment

Install the Oracle Client.
Install the Siebel Mobile Web Client.

You will run the Siebel Workflow Simulator using this client in your development environment. See Siebel Web Client Administration Guide.

Install Siebel Tools.

For directions, see Siebel Tools Reference.

Set up the ODBC Data Source.
Edit the configuration files for Siebel Web Client. See Siebel Web Client Administration Guide to get the name of the configuration file that you should edit.
Edit the configuration file for Siebel Tools (tools.cfg).
