Creating eAI Value Maps

This section explains how to create an eAI Value Map. For more information, see Business Processes and Rules: Siebel eBusiness Application Integration Volume IV.

To create eAI value mappings

  1. Navigate to the EAI Value Maps view:

    2. View > Site Map >Integration Administration > EAI Value Maps

  2. Click New.
  3. Select Direction (Siebel Inbound or Siebel Outbound) and Type from the pick list.

    4. Type is pre-defined in the system. If a new type needs to be added, you must add it to the List of Values view under Applications Administration.

  4. Depending on the Direction and Type selected, enter the Siebel Value, External System Value. Enter any comments (if necessary) and click Save.
