Overview


The Siebel Financial Services Connector for VCML (Value Chain Markup Language) implements integration between Siebel Financial Services Applications and external applications.

VCML is a set of XML-based, industry-specific vocabularies and documents required for communication over the Internet. The VCML transaction sets provide an XML representation of industry-specific EDI transactions. Siebel Financial Services application uses a subset of VCML dedicated to the healthcare industry.

The Siebel Financial Services Connector for VCML receives, parses, and processes the business operations specified in the XML message. It handles both outbound and inbound messages.

This solution allows you to integrate Siebel Financial Services front-office applications and VCML-based applications.
