Setting Up Replenishment

Follow these procedures to set up replenishment.

Some procedures for setting up replenishment are the same as for setting up cycle counting. When beginning to set up replenishment, use the following procedures, and for "cycle counting," substitute "replenishment."

To specify asynchronous operation of the Cycle Counting Engine for a specific user
To set component request parameters for the Cycle Counting Engine
To change system preferences for the Cycle Counting Engine

To set the maximum and minimum quantity of products to keep in stock

Navigate to the Inventory screen.
In the Inventory Locations list, select an inventory location.
Click the Product Inventory view tab.
Select a product.
For the selected product, enter values in the Max, Min, and Safety fields.

To set up replenishment relationships between inventory locations

Navigate to the Inventory screen.
In the Inventory Locations list, select an inventory location.
Click the Relationships tab.
Create a new relationship record.
In the Name field, select another inventory location.
In the Relationship field, select Replenishes.

To set up a vendor for a product

Navigate to the Products screen.
Select a product.
Click the Service Details view tab.
From the Show drop-down list, select Inventory Options.
In the Primary Vendor field, select a vendor.
