Parts Movement Administration View


A field service administrator uses the Parts Movement Administration view to commit transactions that occurred in the field, but are not yet committed. These transactions can be the result of the movement of parts between trunks, customer sites, and service orders.

The administrator commits each part movement record by entering an asset number that is already in the database and clicking Commit. The Commit button creates the appropriate transactions (see Mobile Inventory Transactions) in the database. Upon synchronizing with mobile computers, the changes are transferred to the databases on the local laptops.
