Adding General Activities Using Calendar
General activities and appointments must have the Planned Start and Duration fields populated in order to be displayed in the correct time slot on the Daily Calendar view.
To add a general activity in the Calendar view
- Navigate to the Calendar screen.
- From the Show drop-down list, select My Daily, My Weekly, or My Monthly.
- For My Weekly or My Monthly, select the day and time on which you want to schedule a general activity.
- On the toolbar, tap the New Record button or double-tap on a row.
- In the new record, complete the necessary fields.
Some of the fields are described in the following table.
- To specify contact participants:
- From the Show drop-down list, select Contact Participants.
- Tap the Contacts list to select it.
- On the toolbar, tap the New Record button.
- In the Add Contacts dialog box, select participants and then tap OK.
- To specify employee participants:
- From the Show drop-down list, select Employee Participants.
- Tap the Employee Participants list to select it.
- On the toolbar, tap the New Record button.
- In the Add Employees dialog box, select participants, and then tap OK.
