Implementation Steps
You can implement Siebel Transact in five major steps. Each chapter in this guide describes how to complete these steps.
To implement Siebel Transact
- Install and set up Transact.
See Installing Transact Server.
- Set up the authentication and login system (optional).
See Authentication and Login Support.
- Create the Add to Cart, View Order, Save Configuration, and View Configuration List buttons in the Siebel application.
See Working with the Configuration List.
- Edit the ConfigList JSP page to call the appropriate Config List functions (modifies the Configuration list UI).
See Modifying the Configuration List UI.
- Create a style sheet for the DTD that determines how the configuration information is be passed to the Order Management System shopping cart.
