Configuring the Data Type in Achievement Containers

When you run Accumulate for Revenue Quota-based plan rules (performance measure is % Quota), you must make sure that the business component field type for the newly added field in S_IC_TXN is set up properly.

There are two business component user properties for the Incentive Compensation Transaction Workbook business component that affect the Achievement Container server process:

Performance Map: Revenue

Value = Total Amount

Performance Map: Units

Value = Sum Quantity Requested

You can change the value of Performance Map: Revenue and Performance Map: Units to configured fields.

To map a Revenue business component user property to a newly-configured field

In Siebel Tools, navigate to the user properties of the Incentive Compensation Transaction Workbook.
Add a new single value field (for example, My New Amount) in the Incentive Compensation Transaction Workbook business component.

You can make My New Amount a calculated field or you can map it to a column in Table S_IC_TXN or Table X_IC_TXN_X.

Make sure that the Currency Code field property is set to the field that contains the currency code (for example, the Currency field in the business component).
Set the Exchange Date Field property to another business component field that represents the currency conversion date (for example, the Exchange Date field).
Set the Type field property to DTYPE_CURRENCY to make sure that the Container building process populates the Performance Measure 1 Revenue field in the Container record.
Change the business component user property Performance Map: Revenue to My New Amount.

To map a Units business component user property to a Transaction Workbook field

In Siebel Tools, navigate to the user properties of the Incentive Compensation Transaction Workbook.
Add a new single value field (for example, My New Quantity) in the Incentive Compensation Transaction Workbook business component.

You can make My New Quantity a calculated field or you can map it to a column in Table S_IC_TXN or Table X_IC_TXN_X.

Set the Type field property to DTYPE_NUMBER to make sure that the Container building process populates the Performance Measure 1 Units field in the Container record.
Change the business component user property Performance Map: Units to My New Quantity.
