Associating a Hurdle with a Plan


You can associate hurdles to plans to create plan hurdles. You can also customize the plan hurdle criteria. For more information, see Process for Customizing Plan Rules.

To associate a hurdle with a compensation plan

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Incentive Compensation Administration > Plans.
  2. In the Plans list, select the plan, and then click the hyperlink in the Name field.
  3. Click the Plan Hurdles view tab.
  4. In the Plan Hurdles list, click New.
  5. In the new Plan Hurdle record, click the select button in the Name field.
  6. In the Pick Hurdle dialog box, select the hurdle, and then click OK.
  7. In the Plan Hurdle form, complete the fields as needed.
  8. Depending on the type of hurdle, you may have to perform the procedure steps described in the following table.

    Groups
    1. In the Group field in the Plan Hurdle form, click the select button.
    2. In the Groups dialog box, click New.
    3. Select the group (or groups) you want to add, and then click OK.
    Quota
    1. In the Quota field in the Plan Hurdle form, click the select button.
    2. In the Pick Quota dialog box, select a plan quota, and then click OK.
    If no plan quotas appear, you probably have not added quotas to the compensation plan.
