Creating a Seasonality Skew for a Quota

If you do not want the quota to be spread evenly over the entire measure period, you can create a Seasonality Skew to alter the quota spread.

If you are not using the quota-setting tool, you can create a seasonality skew manually by going to the Quota Spread view described in Spreading a Compensation Plan Quota and changing the quota targets for particular measure periods.

To create a seasonality skew

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Incentive Compensation Administration > Seasonality Skews.

    2. Seasonality skews can also be created in the Personal Quota Roll Down form in Incentive Compensation Quotas > All Quotas.

  2. In the Seasonality Skews list, click New.
  3. In the new record, enter a name, select the measure period, and add comments to describe the skew.
  4. In the Seasonality Skew Entries list, click New.
  5. In the new Seasonality Skew Entries record, enter the skew percentage and measure period.

    6. The start and end dates are automatically filled in, depending on the measurement period you select.
